A few days ago a co-worker of mine was telling the rest of the crew about how he had gotten the H1N1 Vaccine from Walgreen’s Pharmacy. I’ll admit when this virus first emerged I was very alarmed and thought it was going to out to be very serious and affect the population by the masses. However as time wore on and I spent massively too much time following the news and researching “Swine Flu” I realized things was being blown out of proportion. One of the main reason for my settled down emotions regarding the dangers of H1N1 is because I believe that me and my entire family and a large amount of my co-workers have had the virus. A few months ago I believe it was around mid to late October me, my family and many others I knew had flu like symptoms. At this point I had learned that 99% of the flu was that was going around was in fact H1N1. Our kids even required some Emergency Room visits that pretty much resulted in some antibiotics and doctor follow up. They was never tested for H1N1 but during the same week a co-worker’s child was and did have H1N1 so I assume that it struck us all. And evidently according to CBS 1 in 6 Americans have had H1n1 which is a fairly large amount of the population and most likely a higher percentage that normally catches the seasonal flu. Now as far as the vaccine is concerned, I nor my family is planning or intending to get it because I question the safety of the vaccine itself. First off the vaccine is new and the makers of the vaccine have been granted immunity from any legal liabilities due to possible long term side effects. This worries me because I know, that at the rate of growth of the population we will likely go hungry and lack fresh water way before we will ever run out of oil or any other natural resource. So it would make sense for some sort of intentional event to take place to greatly reduce the population. Now I’m not sure to what extent it might be happening but there isn’t a doubt in my mind some population control is already being conducted. Some parents have already made the claim and fought a legal battle that the MMR vaccine caused autism in their child with the support of some pediatricians although federal court has ruled against it. Not to mention how much of the vaccine has already been recalled. So before you rush off to your local Walgreen’s to get the Swine Flu vaccine for $18 I urge you to do some research and ask yourself which is worse, potential side effects or possibility of getting and/or dying from the influenza A virus.
